In our Laceys Cheese factory, we always have the radio on when working on our wide range of delicious, traditionally made cheeses, and Simon Lacey, our chief cheese maker, is a big fan of LBC Radio – Leading Britain’s Conversation. On Wednesday 3rd August, Simon had none other than the honour to speak to James O’Brien on the show himself!
O’Brien was hosting a segment all about UK supermarket’s recent decision to scrap sell by dates on certain items they sell in store – a decision that has caused controversy across the country. As someone who has worked in the food industry for almost his entire life, Simon definitely had some thoughts he wanted to share on the topic.
