Laceys Cheese are traditional cheese makers from Reeth, a beautiful Village in the heart of North Yorkshire.
Our aim is to bring people great cheese, made using handmade and traditional methods, to the people of the North East (and all over the world!). We make a range of cheese from sweet cheddars to crumbly wendsleydales, tangy goats cheeses to creamy blues. I’d really like some smoked Lacye’s Cheese for Christmas time. We live 2 hours away in Derbyshire but my daughter will be in Richmond on December 18th and 19th and could collect some from you then if you can put some asside for us?

Great course today Simon, thank you very much. Really enjoyed hearing about so many different aspects of cheese-making and then the personal touch of how you do it. Wonderful cheese too to boot!
We had a fantastic day making cheese today. Simon was so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about the craft of cheese making.
Our fellow cheese makers were a super bunch and this resulted with a day full of laughter as well as cheese!
Would recommend this course to family & friend. We look forward to returning to tackle ice cream making with our sons!
